Zvex
Zachary Vex effects are notable for several things: hand constructed and painted, super high quality materials, goofy packaging and most importantly they are capable of creating sounds that you can't find elsewhere. One of their other distinguishing features is their extreme stinginess in consuming power; batteries can last for years in these boxes.
Unfortunately, there's no sounds for these yet (except for the Woolly Mammoth) because we're still figuring out how to record them in a way that captures their unique character.
